What started out as a scene in my acting class last spring grew into, "Huh. Maybe we should do this play!" Cut to: November 7th, my friend Daniel Schwait and I performed a staged reading of this amazing, yet little known David Ives play at Guild Hall in East Hampton as part of their JDT Reading Lab series.

I played Ruth, a witty and professionally successful New Yorker on the eve of her birthday, who suddenly has to come to terms with her expectations for the future as her relationship falls apart. We loved performing in this gorgeous theater!

Stage view into the theater!
